Can’t wait to see you at the Eighth Annual Ten Mile Breast Cancer Awareness Walk

Mayo High School, Rochester, Minnesota on Sunday, September 16, 2012

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 15th- shirt pick up for registered walkers at the Rochester Athletic Club from 9am-noon.  Late  registrations welcome-shirt availability may  be limited.

 SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 16th-Schedule of Events

Come early and enjoy the morning with us!

• Bras will be collected in Pink Ribbon Veolia Bins for Bras for a Cause
• Photo-opportunity for single or group pictures by the balloon arch ($2 donation accepted)
• Light breakfast, education exhibits, chair massage, memory table and register for door prizes!
• Parking:  Walkers park in the south side of Mayo High School, volunteers in the north lot.

7:00 am:  Walker registration and T-shirt pick-up.  If you have already picked up your T-shirt at the RAC, you don’t need to come to the registration tent

8:30am:  Tai Chi Warm-up in the stadium, 8^th Annual Walk Group Photo, Get Motivated!

8:45am:  Opening Ceremony

9:00 – 12:45:  Ten Mile Walk (walk as little or as much as you’d like)

• Enjoy the Five Mile Rest Stop at Silver Lake (refreshments, balloons, and fun give-aways)
• Go for a fun Dragon Boat ride! (Dragon Boating = 1 lap around Silver Lake)

11:30 – 1pm:  Lunch served to all walkers and volunteers wearing their 2012 T-shirts.  Lunch provided by Catering by Design

Live music provided by Booker Mini Band.

12:45pm:  Door prizes awarded.  MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN!
