This will allow you to access your personal fundraising and/or Team page and personalize. If you have any problems or forget your password just call Active.com at 877.228.4881 and push 2,3 for registration questions or push 2,2 for fundraising questions.

We require each person donate a minimum of $50 in pledges or personal donation when registering. You may mail in collected pledges with mail in registration form (download on our website or on our JTJ brochure) or you may register online and pay by credit card.

Your $50 will not show on your Personal Pledge page, it will state clearly that you donated $50 in order to create the page. So your friends and family will see you donated that money to start the process and to enter the event. All other donations collected either by credit card or by collected pledges will show up on your personal fundraising page. Your $50 will not be reflected in the total collected, this page shows pledges you collected after the initial donation.

JTJ will enter all collected pledges on your Personal Pledge Page except those donations made by credit card. Feel free to mail pledges as you collect them, we are happy to update your pledge page. Send pledges and pledge collection sheet to: Join the Journey 1530 Greenview Drive SW Suite #212 Rochester, MN 55902. Please mail by September 14, 2010 for updates to show by Walk date.

A fundraising page will automatically be created for everyone who registers. You have the option to personalize this page (photos & story) and invite people to donate using credit card directly on your personal page. JTJ will enter those pledges you collect in cash or check on your personal pledge page. Every individual must donate $50 at registration.

Please create your TEAM and then register as part of your TEAM. Once your TEAM has been created please advise your TEAM members of the TEAM NAME and tell them to REGISTER and JOIN your TEAM. Every Team Captain must donate $50 at registration.

On the registration form, select your TEAM name from the drop down list and continue with your registration. If you do NOT see your TEAM name in the drop down list please contact your TEAM captain. Every Team Member must donate $50 at registration.

The walk is rain or shine, in severe weather we will be indoors at Mayo HS. Keep watching this sight for updates close to the event.

Yes, The time and the place will be announced.

Once the online registration closes you will need to register the day of the walk. We welcome non-registered walkers the day of the walk, we normally order some extra t-shirts and lunches. Come by 7:30am to register, shirts/lunch on first come first serve basis. However we can not guarantee availability unless you pre-registered. Bring cash or checks only, no credit cards accepted the day of the walk.

Your shirt is your TICKET to the event. It will be required to enter the luncheon.

Do you have a form to write down names of people we collect money from?
Yes there is a new pledge sheet available on our Home page. You may print as many as you need. You do not need your walker # to print this. Just type your name.

All donations over $250 will be sent a formal receipt from Join the Journey as required by law. All on-line credit card donations will automatically receive a receipt no matter the amount. All donations under $250 will need to use their personal check or credit card receipt for their personal records.

We are pleased to inform you that Join the Journey is a 501(c)(3) public charity, and your contribution is tax deductible as allowed by law.

Yes, we suggest getting together with family, friends and co-workers and forming a team. Give a small prize to the top fundraiser on your team! Start walking together to prepare for the walk. Some teams have found businesses to match the amount they raise. This is a great incentive. Remember all money stays here in Rochester to help our friends and neighbors.

Don’t worry you don’t have to; walk as much or as little as you feel comfortable. Breast cancer is a tough journey and we thought ten miles represented that. The walk from Mayo High School to Silver Lake Park and back is about 5 miles. You only reach 10 miles if you walk around Silver Lake 3 times. So choose what you are most comfortable with and enjoy the day. There will be refreshments to help you along when you reach Silver Lake Park.

We are unable to provide transportation for liability reasons, so please plan accordingly. We will have a rest/comfort area at Silver Lake Park with drinks and snacks and volunteers to help the walkers if any problems.

Yes, we will have volunteers available to help you sign up. We may not have enough t-shirts and lunch for you. It is better to sign up early to reserve your spot.

Everyone who participates does raise the minimum donation of $50. We keep the minimum at only $50 and with a little effort this goal can be reached.

No, we are using the Mayo HS lawn and football field area and dogs are not allowed.

Yes, their are restrooms at Mayo HS.

NO, we ask that you walk with everyone else, we don’t want any accidents.

We are unable to take requests. Lunch will have a variety of food available.

No it is not! We welcome everyone. Men also get breast cancer but at a much lower rate. This walk is for the entire community, we hope to see everyone.
