pink ribbon mentors

Join the Journey is part of a mentoring program located at Mayo Clinic that connects breast cancer survivors with newly-diagnosed breast cancer patients. Your mentor can help you find answers to your questions and can provide a shoulder to lean on. The mission of these volunteer survivors is to provide emotional and informational support to patients undergoing treatment for breast cancer. This group of women knows first hand the emotional and physical challenges of dealing with breast cancer. Your contact with a Pink Ribbon Mentor will be confidential.

If you would like to talk with a Pink Ribbon Mentor stop by and visit us at Mayo Clinic Women's Cancer Program Resource Room 10-136, Gonda Building, 10th Floor. Monday through Friday from 9:30am-4:30pm; no appointment is necessary. You can also call us at (507)538-9950, or send an email to pinkribbonmentors@mayo.edu

The Pink Ribbon Mentorship Program is a service of Mayo Clinic Volunteer Services in partnership with the American Cancer Society and Join the Journey. In collaboration with Mayo Clinic's Medical Oncology, Women's Cancer and Diagnostic Breast Clinic Programs.

Our hope is that you will allow us to support you through your journey.
